“The Human Library is an interactive workshop where our "books" tell a story about their lives and our "readers" have a chance to discuss and ask questions. This offers open dialogue about themes and topics that others may resonate with. You may find similarities in your own story with our books, or break down prejudices you've held by hearing someone else's experience and having a conversation. This falls in line with our slogan, "unjudge someone."”

This event is part of Leviathan Stage

MindField's public forum, where the weekend's most insightful conversations happen out in the open. Andrew Maxwell hosts the big panels — on America at 250, populism and the broligarchy — while ambassadors, journalists and campaigners take on Europe, Gaza, Amnesty and the housing crisis in between. Mornings open gently with Salon du Chat and the Human Library, where the books are people and the borrowing is a conversation. Come to listen, stay to disagree.
