About the event
Lora O’Brien is a modern Draoí (practitioner of Irish magic) and has served as a dedicated priest of the Irish Goddess Mórrígan since 2004. With over 30 years of experience exploring Irish spirituality, mythology, folklore, and witchcraft, Lora offers a grounded, authentic connection to Ireland’s native traditions. They have authored seven books on Irish history and Pagan practice, with their eighth—The Mórrígan: Ireland’s Goddess—set to be published by Llewellyn in 2025. Lora is an experienced teacher and guide, sharing their work through online education, writing, and community leadership. They regularly speak at international conferences and workshops across the U.S. and Europe, teaching topics such as Irish magical practice, decolonization in spiritual work, and devotion to the Mórrígan. Committed to cultural integrity and accessibility, Lora’s work empowers people to connect meaningfully with Ireland’s living spiritual heritage—wherever in the world they may be.
